MARKET
Founded in 1927 on Long Island’s prestigious Gold Coast, North Hills Country Club boasts a rich legacy of fellowship and family traditions. In 1962, the Club commissioned legendary golf architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., to design a masterpiece course on its current Manhasset location—a bold move that created one of the metropolitan area’s most celebrated layouts. Nearly six decades later, this distinguished club was ready for a brand renaissance that would honor its storied past while embracing the future.
ZEBRADOG brought new energy to the North Hills brand through the design of a dynamic logo suite, a full facility audit, and a comprehensive strategic plan that elevates signage, brand amenities, and storytelling moments across the property.
Areas of Impact
Hall of Champions
What was once an overlooked hallway is now the Hall of Champions—a destination that tells the story of North Hills. ZEBRADOG transformed the space into a showcase of leadership, achievements, and milestones, honoring past leaders, legendary moments, and the members who shaped the Club.
Anchoring the experience is a striking full-length wall graphic reimagining Robert Trent Jones’ original course map, celebrating the course’s legacy while guiding members through the space. Traditional recognition plaques were also elevated into a sophisticated digital platform, giving staff the ability to update accomplishments in real time.
Brand Identity
For decades, North Hills relied on a mix of unofficial logos and lacked a clear identity. ZEBRADOG created a new identity system for the Club that extends from wayfinding concepts to their new storytelling destination, the Hall of Champions.
The new logo suite features the Club’s signature bridge as a symbol of fellowship and incorporated elements of past marks to preserve equity. A centennial date was added to honor their 100-year legacy, resulting in a dynamic identity that unifies digital, print, and environmental applications.
